Why in the world would you think they would?
How rusty is your edge now ?
Good on you, with all those gashes you still finished the shave. You didn't quit.
:tu
You need to use quality 100% agave tequila. Monarch is a nick magnet ;)
Hmm. Perhaps you should drink the drink of choice from the country that your razor was made in ? Idk but maybe I should experiment a little....
Non of these are cuts tho... it's like I shaved the skin off!!! BBS shaves achieved tho... and ready for my 6 miles run tomorrow.
Confucius say: man who imbibe spirits prior to straight shave, surely on the straight road to join the spirits.
The more you drink, the more you have will have liver imparment, you will develope a vitamin K deffiency.
Than you will bleed.
Shave first, booze second. Lucky they are just scrapes. Hope that was an evening shave and not 6 in the morning sergeant.
I won't sit here and say I haven't shaved after the occassional cold beer in a hot shower but hard liquor is probably best saved for a post shave drink and tequila with anything (except maybe huevos rancheros) is a really bad breakfast.
The interesting thing is, it was fast easy shave... I had 4 days worth of hair (labor day long weekend)I thought it's going to be painful. .. but it wasn't. .. just bloody hahahaaa.
It was a late night shave. .. can't go to work drunk :)
I usually shave b4 I go to bed to let my face rest before PT (physical training) also to save time since I have to wake up by 0500... If I'm to shave in the morning I'll have to wake up like 0430 or something
SWI is a special skill set reserved for those with experience. Cheap tequila will do that to you so next time try a quality distillation such as Corzo, that is my tequila of choice for SR shaving
Cien Anos "Puro", Corralejo, Cazzadores, El Jimador, y Herradura. Esos son algunos tequilas BELLAS
It helps to have "familia".

No surprises here...
Although too much doesn't work well with straight shaving, I found a few shots in the beginning gave me the nerve to actually drag a bare razor across my face and throat.
Funny I would have thought tequila might have made a good astringent. Oh you meant drinking it? The most important thing would be the ratio of internal to topical application. Definitely how many passes (rounds) in the shave too. I'd definitely hold back half a shot for the AS splash :rofl2:
Best,
Ed
If you're going to go for it, why not go for the best!
Gran Patrón Piedra Tequila Extra Anejo. It's quite expensive but works for everything!
