Help me to know the origin of my knifes
Hi there gentlemen.
I have a couple of knives laying around that I would like to know more of their origins, I hope you could help me?
I have no clue how to upload pictures but maybe I can just describe them?
I want to know as much details as possible if I may.
1. The only thing visible on this is the word "Bengall", the scales are changed to one in plastic but since it is wedge I guess I can assume it is an older piece? Is it an english brand och what country where they usally made in? I have seen knifes that was presented as Swedish, English and Danish with Bengall brand so I have have no clue myself.
2. This one has the name of "quo vadis" on the knife and scales and on the thang (Do you say so?) it says "Carl Herder, Solingen" And number 86. The Scales are unusual as it has three pinches on it and some kind of pattern that almost looks like marble. This one is hollow.
3. This I know is a Swedish knife since it says "Erik Anton Berg" on it, but what makes me wondering is that there is a shark stamped to it, and since it is wedge as well, what could the age be on it? and oh yeah, the scales are made of real ivory.
My main language is swedish but I hope that I have made the info so you could at least understand it :)
I am very grateful for the help.
