Not sure if OP is asking how many we shave with or how many we have in general . that said , I am a collector.
I have somewhere around 180. have not counted them in a while. and about a dozen or so that I am making
new scales for. I am sure everyone knows what happens when you are gifted with your first straight. yep , BOOM ,
I was infected with the Gottahavemoreittus. its like a bug that gets under your skin and you have to satisfy it ,
somehow. needless to say it turned out that I now collect " anything " shaving " related "
I just counted yesterday, and I am happily under 75 blades total. I was sorting them by nation of origin and I discovered that I have equal numbers Sheffield and German. I am not trying to get the German ones, but it seems that every time that I buy a lot of blades, German ones predominate.
Just over 2 dozen from memory. I likely need to cull a few razors from the quiver but am in no hurry to do so. Just don’t care to sell off razors that I bought for whatever reason.
Yikes, since last I posted in 2014, with about 35 W&B's and a few assorted others, I'd say now I'm well over 160 razors.
10 day set of W&B The Celebrated Hollow Ground Razor for Barber's Use, about 40 other assorted W&B's, dozens of Sheffield makers, and then a United Nations of various makers, with a side collection of my beloved Frame Backed razors.
Have sold about 5 of them, and gifted 2, and still get a cold clammy feeling whenever I have a brief thought of selling a razor......:rofl2:
I have many but not too many :D Mostly Joseph elliots..
I'm approaching 400

I just showed that to my wife. "See? I don't have it THAT bad." I only have just over 100.
