Belgian Frameback Razor
Just wanted to share as I don't see too many razors made in Belguim. Scales seem to be made of Aluminum, interesting markings also. The one side has a heart with an arrow through it and some initials. A few light discolorations on the blade that should clean up if I decide to keep it or may pass it off to another member. Looks to have never been honed as there is no bevel.
The tang markings read:
E. PIERARD-LEFEBVRE
A. GEMBLOUX (BELGIQUE)
DRAREIP
DEMONTABLE

Very nice piece. The Belgian Blades are difficult to find but when you get a good one you've lucked in.

A style common to Japanese blades but a rarity for Western manufacturers. Japanese ones often praise "Swedish Steel"
Thanks for posting it!

I've got a Belgian razor that's stamped Ypres. I had to have it as my wife's Grandfather fought at the Battle of Ypres in WW1.

Cool.
Looks very similar to a Japanese drawback.
