There is no, "England" stamp on the tang, so it's definitely 1890 or earlier.
My opinion on that one would be between 1840-60, but that's just a guess based on the mark. That's a nice blade, an 8/8 and an FBU, a highly sought after blade. Nice find!
Welcome to SRP. In "Collecting Straight Razors" author Robert Doyle says that 'meat chopper' type blades became popular somewhere in the 1850 time frame, give or take a decade. Coincidentally, I shaved with one like yours this very day.
It's plenty old. Those are great shavers. An unmolested wedge. Neat!
It looks to me like it has Mosses initials on it :rofl2:
