All I know is that once properly honed it is one of the best to shave with!

Congrats! Fine looking razor you have there.

Plus one on what nun2sharp said. Wade & Butchers are some of the finest shaving str8 razors out there. I love those big blades, got one myself and won't part with it. That one doesn't look like its had excessive use so you should enjoy many years of fine shaves with it. I would send it out to a pro for honing.

    Happy Shaving!!

That's a keeper!! The odd shaped W&B are in my opinion, the best. I'd say that one fits right in with the top W&B.

Slight hump back tang, french point, 1/4 grind and hardly any hone wear. Yuh done real good!

Thanks for the comment. The str8 is on its way to Lynn to have it cleaned and hone.

Very nice find. That's a great looking razor. Looks to me to be around 1880-1890. Scales are dark horn with a lead spacer. It doesn't look like it's had a lot of use. It'll be a great shaver once it's properly honed.

That is a favored grind for me. The French point makes shaving some areas easier. Nice catch!
