Oh man! Go ahead with pink ivory(?) -- I'd love to see a lip lopper dressed up in some of that!

Lou,
I was under the impression that pink ivory was a type of wood. Ivo's post said "pink ebony," but I thought was just a slip of the tongue.
Natural ivory scales are quite attractive though.
Hey.... it said 'pink' and 'ivory'....I just go where I'm told...
....not my fault....
...........go blame someone else......
(...geez...I'm starting to sound like some of my employees!.....)

Hey, I'm the one that got this thread side tracked (:OT ), so I'll try to get it back on topic...
...Joe, those restorations are amazing! I've always been a fan of the way you combine the wood with the stone wedges - although, all I recall seeing are the turquoise wedges - have you ever worked with any other stones - coral or other? (probably have and I just missed them - links would be nice!)
fabulous work:tu

One of my other razors restored by Joe has a malachite (green colored) stone wedge. I also saw another recent restoration of his that used a brass wedge.
Have you ever posted any pictures of the malachite wedged razor?

WOW! Those razors are just beautiful. They look almost too beautiful to shave with. I'm gonna stop buying bargain vintage razors (not bad shavers) and add some really good ones to my collection too.
