Welcome to SRP. I've moved your thread to the 'Razors forum' where more people might see it based on the topic.

I don't know those brands, but there are some members here who are very knowledgeable when it comes to obscure makers. Someone may be along who can shed some light on them.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

#3 The Fermarud was a brand name of the Lang brothers. The company was in business from around 1850 to 1925. Yours looks like it is from the 1900s. The 42 3/8 Extra I'm assuming is a model 42 extra hollow (full hollow) ground. Is it by some chance 3/8" wide?
    They made pretty good razors.

#2 I can't make out the name on the tang. Looks like the scales may be bone.

#1 I can't make out the name on the tang. Looks like the scales may be horn. KLF is probably someone's initials. I could be led to believe that it is from the 1850s based on the tail.

Hopefully someone else will know more.

Default Found something from razor dudes on facebook...

#1 RODGERS SHEFFIELD made abt. 1830s-40s... the carving in the horn handle may be a personal date of gift to someone.

and thx for the help on # 3... :-) The size of the blade is 1 cm from bottom blade to top blade, and 7,2 cm long... The size of the tang is 13,2 cm... Sorry, in denmark vi use cm, so i donīt have the supplies to tell you in inch.

Blade width of 1cm would be a 3/8 razor.

Unfortunately for those of you in the more enlightened parts of the world, the long standing convention for razor widths is in eighths of an inch.

That would make #2 a Henry Robinson from Sheffield. The blade probably had Diamond Edge etched on it.

    a 5/8 is 1.6 cm
    a 6/8 is 1.9 cm
    a 7/8 is 2.2 cm
