All I have is this link, not much more info that I can find. :shrug:

One looks like an ingrown hair waiting to happen.

Looks like a weed wackier had a go at it.

A goat gnawed on it!

This pic also confirms my suspicion that the electric shaver PULLS the whisker until it breaks. At least that's the way it felt when I tried to use one.

I've never tried an electric razor that didn't feel like a weed whacker!

I suspect the DE cut would be cleaner given that the blade is so much thinner than a straight.
