Need help identifying these vintage razors

Bought several vintage straight razors recently at an antique store. I have been able to find out the history about most of them except for these three. Any info such as who manufactured them, how old they are, etc. would be greatly appreciated it . Thanks

The first razor: On the blade it says The Sharp Edge Razor and the tang it says Warranted, Steel Razor, Ground to Shave, Germany
The second razor: On the tang it says Silver steel and on the scale it says 1775
The third razor: On the blade it says Our Best Hollow Ground and on the tang it says Warranted Hollow, Ground Razor and on the other side of the tang is 5944

I'm not sure what the 1775 is in reference to, but that one marked silver steel, I'd say, is likely as old as the mid 1830s and probably not newer than the late 1850s. An old one for sure!

Welcome to SRP. We have some very resourceful experts on SRP who can ID most anything, but those marques are so obscure that I doubt even they will come up with anything. :gl:

As the poster above said, the middle one is very old and should be fixable by adding more curve to the heel (best left for an expert)

Straight Razor Manufacturers and Dates of Operation

That first one must be quite a stiff grind, if it is "Ground to shave Germany".

But anyway. According to John Walter's "German Curlers, Toolmakers & Metalsmiths", there is a trademark "Fist holding a weight", registered to Solingen manufacturer Paul Stommel, who also helt the 'Puno' and 'Punjo' trademarks.

I know this is well over a year old, but I have acquired a very similar razor that I thought I would add to here. The scales appear to be celluloid I tried burning it with a pin and id did and did not smell like hair(bone) according to the tests I read. I picked this up with a bunch of knives not realizing it was even part of the lot.

I am afraid I'm am not going to be of any help to you in regards to these razors. I however will say you have 3 very fine looking razors that should clean up an shave nicely.
