Yup . . . will likely rescale the Libby and Harlow at some point, but there's no rush. W&B will eventually get a freshening hone from Val, but for now, both are supposed to be shave ready, so I am going to test that out this week.

Nothing like a new addition to the collection arriving, regardless of whether it's proper new or just new to us.

Why size is the Plymouth rock? Looks nice and chunky.

As do I, but they are almost as thin as the edge of the blade (well, not really, but you know what I mean) and slightly pinched. Like I said, not in a rush, but some day it will get new scales.

It's a full 15/16 out by the toe (before the curl you see in the pic), and a solid 14/16 near the heel. Gave a decent shave right out of the packaging . . . just gave it 30 passes on a slip of leather that is not yet glued to a paddle.

All in all, I am very happy with the purchase, so nothing more needs to be said on that front. Wednesday night I will be trying the Wade & Butcher that arrived from the same seller. This will be my first W&B shave, and it's a hollow grind, too. Looking forward to that.
