I picked this razor up about a year ago...it's a Bergfeld & Sohn - Globusmen 6/8''. Made in Soligen Germany, fine ground. It's really a finely made and well performing shaver, but I have yet find another made by this company. Has anyone see or does anyone own a razor by this maker?

I've owned 2, and they were both good shavers. And yours looks to be in better shape than either of the 2 I owned.
There has been a recent run on a lot of about 15-20 NOS(?) razors of that maker on german Ebay.
The lucky ones who got some of them all posted very impressed opinions about the looks and shaving-qualities of their purchases.
The offered models were mostly stipplebacks (if "stippleback" is the right word for those blades with filed patterns on the back?).
At the moment most mebers of the german nassrasur.forum board should be watching ebay very carefully for Bergfeld & Sohn / Globusmen :w

Beautiful looking razor you have. I have a Globusmen, and it's a fine razor.
There is one on Ebay right now (6/21).
