Found this in the wild today at local flea market. I believe the scales are tortoise, and the only marking on the blade is Warranted. I would really love to know about how old this is any help appreciated.

I think the scales are dyed horn, but could be wrong.
Lovely old razor been looking for a decent stub tail myself for my personal collection so I could give it a total restore including new blonde horn scales, I also think the scales are dyed horn.
On the basis of two photographs, my opinion is that you can only conclude that there is a great degree of spine wear which is reflected in the wide bevel.
Without examining the scales in terms of smelling them and visually testing them against other known substances, it is difficult to determine their origin.
Thanks for the comments, any idea on a date of manufacture?
Look on strazors.com under early razors. There is a link to lummus that may help.
Nice old one
1815-1825. Ish. ;)
