Default A Lucky Day to Share

    Gentlemen,

This morning I had a silky shave with my Le Grelot, which was a sign that I would have a lovely day. This afternoon I visited my barber and he gave me a gift of two old razors he had used many years ago: a 5/8 Bengall wedge with a short tang and an old 5/8 Boker. I have not viewed the razors under a scope yet. The Bengall has some honewear, but it is still in good shape for its age. The Boker also looks good. I can't wait to hone them and merrily shave away.

That's a good story, and a great barber.
Congratulations on the gift, I expect his tips just went up?
I'm building a shadow box for my barber unrequested or expected. He and I talk razors and hot lather shaves every time I am in the chair.
    Enjoy.

Congrats on having a lucky day. That Boker looks to be a King Cutter and they are really nice shavers.

Thanks, Bob. I've had several of these King Cutters and all were sweet shavers. One can't deny the quality in these classic razors. Good stuff.
