Question
I'm not real good at the computer so after looking and not finding the answer i'll ask. Does anyone know about the Superior brand straight razor. The blade has warranted and then the name Superior. It's one of the razors I recently got and have been working on it today. The scales cleaned up pretty good. they were horn and had a brass inlay that shined up ok. I'll add a photo when I set up for the camera again. The scales looked to good to leave on the blade so I made a set of Faux Black MOP for the blade. the horn is now soaking in neets foot oil for a few days and then i'll clean again put away for that special blade. That is if I can find one.

Sorry about takeiing so long with the photos. i set up the light box and took several at one time. I decided to keep the scales that was on it and make a set out of Faux BMOP . I will find a blade that those scales will work better.

Another nice razor. You have been finding quite a few. Even when I bug you it appears you are unwavering. Say no to peer pressure.

Thanks but it really looks better in the photo than in hand. It shaves but not quite like the hinckels.

There was a Superior razor company out of England in the 1800s that most people believe were made by wade and butcher. Compare it to a W&B in style, size, and the lettering and you will see why.
I don't think anybody can actually confirm that W&B made the Superior, but I think they did.
