Identification help needed

I've not seen that makers mark before. Looks like a quality blade. I'd bet it'll take a nice edge.

Is there anything on the reverse side?

Where did you get it? Was there anything else with it?

Is it REOTIFILZ?

I doubt it is because google is coming up with nothing under that search. Maybe it's newer than you think it is?

There's nothing on the reverse and I do think it's a newer razor. It looks and feels like stainless steel and it shaves just nicely. And I bought it on ebay and it came with a ventage box that says "extra hollow ground" "price $3.00". As far as I know the ebay description said rectifil but I'm not sure. To me it doesn't even look like a full stamp.

It's hard to tell from the picture of the box but see is the 'r' in Extra and Price are a match. Boxes can be misleading, most razors will fit in any box. I think you may have the lid from one box and the body from another.

It seems the seller probably had no idea about it either, it's definitely not "rectifil". I'm with you on it not being a full stamp but the etching on the blade is intact which is nice.

I'm still inclined to think the razor isn't as old as it appears but if it shaves well then don't worry :) A good shaver is better than a mysterious antique.

Nice looking razor. Doubt it stainless but I'm sure it will be a fine shaver
