My Kamisori  Shame, shame, shame....
well here are the ones that i will admit too.
mainly cracked blades and chips... some i did myself others i got suckered wit ha poor photo the one the top one in the ornate black scales is a waterville... don't get much uglier than that... the missing scales have gone to give new life to other blades... all but the waterville will loose its scales... i might have another go at making that a shaver.
In my drawer I have this, a mint cond. BRESDUCK DUBL DUCK STRAIGHT RAZOR SOLINGEN or at least thats what the ebay seller called it, guess you live and learn:)
I hate this razor so much. So many wasted hours. If they were billable hours, i could buy a mastro livi.

I only have two....................cigar boxes, full of redhaired stepchild razors. :o
Some are salvageable, so I have plenty to do at night for the rest of my life.
I have three Genevas in the drawer. One takes an edge, but has a big chip in it. The other two...I gave up.
Also gave up on a Frederick Reynolds. I sent it to Lynn. He should be having fun with it. :P
I have my Dovo. My first razor, that unbeknownst to newbie me had some serious warpage of the blade. By the time I knew enough to discover it I had honed it, Dovo wouldn't take it back, and Classic Shaving could do nothing. So I work on it every now and then, and it's slowly getting closer to being "straight-bevel"-able. But I think that it, my dremel, and I might have a hot date coming up...
The other razors in my "working on" drawere are in various states of restoration, but working full time and still in school I don't have lots of time to work on them. However, all but the Dovo are progressing somewhat satisfactorily toward usability...
I'll post some pics after I get my camera this weekend...
Non yet, but does the fact that I can't strop a decent blade yet count? no matter what I do the blade rises off the strop.. and going fast for me is out of the question... unless I want a dull blade... maybe its the American made Latigo that's the problem, who knows.. but I'm not ever happy with my stropping... seen enough videos to last a lifetime... ugh... that's my shame... finally out in the open...God feels good..
I'm gonna sandpaper my strop today and see if thats it... would suck if I'm just retarded when it comes to stropping...lol
Cheers

Hahaha, I got a good laugh from this. There are just some razors that you love to hate!Quote:

I have one out on the bnech right now, I won't let it in the house. I think a Rodgers or other good sheffield name, but pics weren't quite clear enough. I put in about 15 buck bid, won. got here, lots of pitting, somebody tried sanding it, just a lot of work. not sure if I'll mess with it or sell it or chuck it.
