I found a adoration that am taking a look at I really fell in love with these razors I don't know if it's the looks or the scale but I want one this one has a lot of rust pitting the hole nine but wanted to see what more experienced eyes say is it worth the trouble of restoring it or should I keep looking for another adoration Attachment 222691
Looks like a lot of hone wear. Rust at tip real heavy. May have to cut some off the tip and make a shorty.
The worst thing that comes from restoring any straight to it's best possible condition is that the effort does not result in a serviceable straight. In all cases however, you'll obtain some knowledge and practice skills that will improve a wee bit on every straight you restore. This payoff in experience is worth the effort, if the effort is worth your time.
I think I'd get the rust off the tip to see what i was working with before I removed the tip, you may be pleasantly surprised to find some steel underneath :)

It is better to look for another razor.
I would say that razor is great for experimenting and learning with, but in the end it won't come out very nice. I'd start with something in a little better shape though so you'll have something to show for your effort(not too nice though). I say knock the rust off that one and set it aside for when you start learning to hone.
