Welcome aboard,,,,,,,,,,,,
Based on the box, it probably is "old"
Get us some better pics so we can see the detail on the tang & blade,,, its a struggle to make out the manufacturer with your photos. There are guys here that like to look up razors like yours, it helps us to learn also.
Just get us some better pics & write down what you can read.
Wish I had skips like that near me! Nice find

Thanks for the info, i'm defiantly going to keep it, just wondering what sort of price it's worth. The lads at work will want to know. Also what is best to clean off the rust without damaging the gold.
Value-based pricing is a difficult thing. But there is an entry about it in the FAQ conveniently linked at the top of this page. You should look it up.
There are two things you can do with this razor: Leave it as is, or dismantle and clean it. The former will preserve its soul, but it will not shave. The latter will turn it into a nondescript piece of potentially shave ready steel, depending how deep the rust has moved into the edge. Personally, I would leave it as is.
Thanks for the help, i think i'll lightly oil and keep it as it is.
