Thank you for all the replays. I find that the Torrey razor isn't as good as the other one, but it does shaves.
I honed it completely on Naniwas ending on 12k. Perhaps a coticule will leave a smoother edge.

It seems that Torreys are like most American blades as in more effort is usually needed due to the harder steel.
Indeed, Torreys are among the toughest, FME. As they get right, they shave with most and hold an edge forever, it seems.
I own 2 Genco's, an Ontario and a Geneva. Being from NY I love the idea of blades made in my former state. The Genco's shave like a dream, really hold an edge and considering they are almost 100 years old and mass produced, that speaks volumes for good old American know how.
