Wade and Butcher wedge
I saw a W&B wedge in an antique today, no barber's notch, black scales. The blade is in fair condition and looks like it could be easily restored. The asking price is $20.00.
I think I'll pick it up tomorrow and post a photo, unless you guys think I'm wasting my money. Thanks Freddie

$20 for a vintage razor is not a bad deal. Look to see if it has cracks in the blade would be one of the biggest things to look out for. Rust can be removed. Pitting could be an issue. But for that price ...not a bad deal at all. I'd jump on it if it were me.

Worth a shot, even pits are just just cosmetic to a point. Just avoid severe pitting at the edge

After closer inspection I passed on the W&B. Someone for whatever reason, had ground about 3/32nds or more off the end of the blade.
