O.K. so I know a bit now about the Bengall razors, But I have another question I can't seem to find the answer to. When was just the "Bengall" stamp used? I am looking at one now that has the "Bengall" stamp on one side of the Tang and NOTHING on the other side, no "Made in England" or T.R. Cadman stamp on the other side. Thank You.

WOW! That's amazing! I was just looking at one I just bought and it is blank also. The information that the seller gave was that it was once owned by a U.S. Marine when he was stationed in Japan in 1944. If I can get this one It will be cool as it is in better shape than the Marine owed one (it has seen the hone way too many times) as it was probably a 5/8ths or 11/16ths new, and now is around a 9/16ths. The pictures he showed kinda hid how bad the hone wear was or I would have passed on it. P.S. or maybe I should have looked at it better or asked for better pictures. Ah well, you live and learn.
Any Marine in Japan in 1944 was a prisoner of war.
