I have a TI Frameback. They are nice shavers.
What about stropping and honing LS? looks like it may be a bit awkward? That's quite a smile also.
Do you know what steel TI used/uses in their razors, and how might it compare with German and English edges?
Hmmmm. It is good brand and looks to be vintage in good condition. I can not think of a good reason to turn away from that razor at a good price. If you don't have one you really should get one. They are a little different in hand and I really like my frame back. Mine is from Eskilstuna, but they should be nearly the same.
For the second part, the French razors tend to be a little harder than the English or German razors and will be more like the Little Vallet steel or Swedish steel, as far as I have heard anyway.
I am looking at it on the bay (no surprises), at present I am torn between this, because I have nothing like it, and an immaculate Hart 6/8 square point that a very nice chap is selling here in UK. Two different beasts that I am drawn to for very different reasons.
Stropping the frameback really isn't an issue. I have touched mine up on a home but not really honed it, so I can't really comment on honing. Overall, my TI is a smooth shaver and one of my favorite razors to use.
Your TI is a frameback also?
Sorry, you already stated that, my oversight!
