Not enough of an expert to know if the blade can still be made shave ready, but I think it could be. Scales are in AWFUL shape, but overall I'm pretty pleased with picking it up for $6. Only markings on it are "George Wostenholm & Sons celebrated IXL Razor. Washington works" so I don't really have anything to date it with other than to say it's Post 1848. It'd be nice to think it's a hundred years old, but I'd say that's not likely. It could be as new as the late 70's? Is that correct?
Anyway; wanted to share with you guys. If anyone has any additional info, feel free to share!
