What straight razor to buy, and where from given some factors

I'm looking for advice about:
1) What straight razor to buy or a list of suitable candidates/brands.
2) Links to online sites to buy from.
Considering some factors;
- It needs to be available to buy online in Europe (postage to Hungary).
- Cost up to approximately £125 including postage, though I can be swayed.
- I hope to hone and sharpen the razor with ceramic stones, a 12k water stone and a strop. Do I need higher than 12k grit?
- I am concerned about honing and sharpening a hollow ground straight razor. Do all straight razors come with a hollow ground? I am well versed in flat ground and convex ground knife/axe sharpening, but I have never sharpened a razor. Does it require different technique (other than bevel angle considerations)?

You don't need anything higher than 12k, if you want scary sharp without paying big bucks, chromium oxide pasted strop will do the trick.

Your new razor from Aust or Revisor should be shave ready. Sharpening straight razors is very different than knives. With a new shave ready razor all you need to worry about is regular maintenance, the SRP wiki is your friend.

My first razor is a Dovo. I have no problem recommending your looking at the products produced by this German company. You will need a strop but you need not get involved with the honing of your razor at this time. Just make sure the seller sends it to you "shave ready."
And there is a HUGE difference between sharpening a knife and a razor. Don't even go there until you have learned how to use your razor. FWIW it will take several months to learn how to use a strop. It will take even longer to use your razor that will satisfy you. So take your time. Spend your money on a good brush and a good shaving soap. Most of all have fun and be patient. Try to locate a member of this forum that lives near to you. One whom can properly answer your questions. Good luck!!!

I would say buy this , then send it out for pro honing.
You could find it cheaper , this was my first glance for one.

I can recommend this because my brother has one and I wouldn't mind one. No shoulder and holds a great edge..

Shave ready is lovely, but I will eventually need to sharpen it, ideally using the stones I currently have. That's why I was being mindful of whether it has a hollow grind or not. Or if all straight razors have hollow grrinds.

I have found the SRP Wiki now! So perusing that might give me the answers I am asking here.

Blades come in different grinds... Full hollow is a thinner grind...
Learning to hone is a lengthy process ..
