I have a straight razor with custom scales. I think when whoever put the razor together misaligned the blade. Is there anone that can help me I also need the blade honed. I'm from iowa. So if someone near me can help I'd be greatful.

Attachment 254243I'm also willing to send the razor off to be looked at and fixed as I love the scales. Added aas good of a pic as I could take. It shows the tip of the blade touching one of the scales.

Look at the two sides of the pivot, are they as uneven as they look in the pic ???
If they are, then gently make them even, as that should move the point of the razor toward the front scale like it needs to be..
Don't try it unless you feel comfortable doing it, you should be able to do that with just your fingers and thumbs
It really isn't uncommon for shifts to happen while stropping :)
