Wouldn't think of it. It's a very nice little knife, probably not worth much cash even if I were interested in selling it. Still very sharp after many years. I'm curious about the inscription on the body. M?&sons? Would that be a V for Verinder? It has the same inscription on the other side.
Does the "Sheffield Made" mean that the blades and/or knife were made for M.Verender in Sheffield by a knife maker unknown?
It appears that Henry (or two different Henrys) Verinder was associated with two addresses in London with the 17A Ludgate Hill address still listed in the Trades' Directory as late as 1914 and it wouldn't surprise me if that's where my father bought it in 1942 or 3 before he was sent to Algiers.
