19th century razor with pressed horn scales

Hello!

I'm writing this as my first post here on the forum, as I'm trying find more information on an old razor that I bought from a flea market some time ago. So far the only thing I knwo, is that it is from the early 1800s and that the scales are made out of pressed buffalo horn. If any of you guys know anything about the markings on the razor, I would appreciate that a lot! And I know that this isn't a forum for getting items evaluated and that isn't the reason for my thread, but does anyone know that what this razor could be worth? I'm quite sure that I didn't overpay, but I would still like to know! :)

Of course you're correct we don't do valuations.

As a shaver I think that razor has had it. As a collectors piece it might be interesting to clean up and display.

Thank you for your answer, thebigspendur! I never bought this razor for use, since it is quite a worn example. I'd just love to know more about it since there isn't too much information online when it comes to straight razors such as this one! :)

Gorgeous scales. Get a pristine period correct razor for them. They also look like they might need a little neats foot oil.

It would take work, but it could be made into a shaver again.
