In a rare example of harmony of answers we seem to all be saying the same thing - Solid C, do no harm (aka damage by over-enthusiasm) and get that razor in the rotation doing what it was meant to do...deliver a great shave for years to come...
And another razor is saved from "Death by Shadowbox"... you will be rewarded in Heaven...

I'll vote not a super valuable collectible or resale, but nice keeper to use. I say hit it with some Maas or other fine polish to spruce it up but skip sanding.

What do you like? Don't worry about collector grade stuff, your razor won't go there. Polish, don't, but by all means get the girl a good hone and edge and the two of you will have lots of fun together. I have owned your razor, it is a wonderful shaver and is in my 15mm preference for full-hollows. Have it honed professionally, these are tiresome razors for beginners to hone.
