This razor was given to me by my Father. It was his father's and I was hoping I could get some information on it. I never knew my grandfather as he passed in the late 50's
Any help would be appreciated

Morley is a brand of Adolph Kaster. He imported knives and razors from Germany and was based out of New York.

Very nice razor, even nicer it's an heirloom. Truly something to treasure. Looks to be about 5/8 1/2 hollow. The first number 5/8 is the blade width, the second is the blade grind. Those scales are what most call fancy scales.
I'd love to get it cleaned up and honed. I have the case but it's difficult to make out the writing on it
The scales are celluloid. Typically, black ones are usually quite stable still and judging from the rust-free condition of your blade, I feel these are great. Like the pattern. Unusual?
He loved and used it. The honewear is a good bit, yet nice and even.
I would call from the 30's...Prewar.
Only thing to do is get it preserved and into a shadow box, perhaps with some other things and info on him?
Very cool!
