Hoping to ID a Shumate razor

Hello,

I did see that there is a Shumate club, but it's last post was 2016. I was hoping someone could help me ID a Shumate razor. It says Shumate on one side and made in the USA on the other.

I have looked and have seen where the name and type are stamped on one side and the location on the other, but never in the configuration I have.

I'm a knife collector and received this razor with a box a bought from Goodwill, so I must apologize a head of time for not knowing much about straight razors.

Can some one help me out figuring this razor out?

Not much to identify as it says on the razor that it is a Shumate made in the USA. Are you looking for a model and a production date? Is there a faint etching on the blade that give a model name?

Maybe where it was made and possibly a date/ model number would be cool to know. Being new to straight razors I did find a following for this brand and they always mentioned being made early on in Austin Texas and later in St. Louis, Missouri. I have not seen any that were marked like the one I have. Maybe an early export version?
There are no other marks on it. It did look for a faint etching and could not find one. Oh well. Thank you Bob for responding to my post, I do appreciate it.

Normally it is pretty hard to pin down an exact date it was made or a model if it is not on the blade. Since it does not have St Louis stamped on it, could it have been made in Texas between 1884 and 1904 when they moved production to St Louis? With most vintage straight razors you are left with a best guess of a period of production spanning a couple of decades if you are lucky.

I appreciate you getting back with me. I can see collecting straight razors can be a bit more of a challenge then knives can be at times. I will tell you what, there are always razors on the Goodwill auction site (I hope it was alright for me to say that) I get one thrown in with groups of old knives at times.
