Although I stored my blades with oil, I still have several spots (front and back) which have tarnish markings on them. Anyone know of a good way to clean/polish them back to looking new?
Any help would be appreciated.

You are first going to need to cover the gold wash with tape. Then 000 steel wool and WD-40 Should remove the stains. Finish with good metal polish.
Thank you!
If you are looking at prevention, then you might want to look at VCI paper, or Renaissance Wax or Conservators Wax. There are also cannisters that work like VCI paper and silica gel at the same time.
As for dealing with your current issue I think the best approach has already been posted, you can with very light corrosion be very careful with polish on a Q-tip
Thank you. Good advice on the Q-Tip. Definitely, want to be safe when polishing. :o
