Any ideas on the manufacturer?

I have had and used this razor for some time. Never could find any info on maker. Only thing on shank "J. H. M. - SHEFFIELD - STEEL", and engraving of Queen Victoria on blade. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

I wish I could help you out...Unfortunately I don't know the manufacturer. But there is a cool/unique factor with this razor IMO. The scales and engraving, I dig it...

I think we can safely assume that it wasn’t made in Sheffield.

I've never seen one like it but it's very cool looking!! Did it take an edge? I've got a Sheffield "Superior" razor with seems like it was a royal commemorative razor that won't take an edge after many repeated attempts, it's probably more a decorative than a useful razor

The general shape and bone scales remind me of a Torrey I had, and I do believe they used to use Sheffield steel. But I've never seen a Torrey without their name on it.
