That is a thing of great beauty
Yes it does shave well. I had put a fine jnat edge on it, and that did not take much, but I never used it more than once or twice because the wonky scales weren't comfortable and you had to work a little to get the blade closed, and I don't want to put any noticeable wear on it. It shaves like any good hollow ground French razor And reminded me of Le Grelot, who eventully bought Le Jaguar. I suppose the trademark now belongs to Thiers-Issard since they bought Le Grelot, so it is al least possible that we could see new 'cats'.

Beautiful blade, the scales fit it perfectly. The fit and finish on the wedge and pins is impecable.
