I don't know who it is but I make that out to be H B Wadr's. Really hard to read that old fancy script. Hope someone has an answer for you.

I can certainly see that in the pics, though definitely looks like a Gothic "M" up close. Looks like three distinct legs (not just stylizing) though the far left one is more faint, and the cross member bisects the middle leg, doesn't go between the two legs on the right. Now you have me second guessing my eyes :-)

I think it's a hardware store or drug store, and out of coincidence the store name is Wade's.

Definitely a "B", curves in at the middle on the right. I'll see if I can get a better pic tomorrow.
Same here. I think it is closer to this style as far as strokes go. One curved line making the spine and one straight thin vertical line in the body of the D.

It is "M. B." Hopefully this pic shows it more clearly. I apologize for the lackluster pics
