Razor I.D

Hi guys,
I have a few blades that I cannot find any info on.

At the moment they are waxed and packed so I only have the photos to go on.

Firstly an A Sambrook

Second is what looks like Joseph cam's

Third up is a Trevor with a frog ..

Never seen a frog on a razor before. Someone else had one with a relative of the emu.
They sure did celebrate a lot of razors in Sheffield back then.

You use wax as a preservative? Blade and scales? What kind?

I use this stuff only on the blades but the scales could do with it too.

Just found it. John Newton & Co. Used the frog logo. Other names he used were:
Thomas Wilton, Sheffield
H. T. Johnson, Sheffield
Manhattan Cutlery Co, Sheffield

Joseph Cam was a much lesser-known Sheffield manufacturer. Probably his biggest claim to 'fame' was stealing a bunch of ivory and other scale material from Wade & Butcher in the early 1820's. He worked periodically after that, but I recall ultimately died in the work house. That one dates to the mid-to-later 1830's.
