    Default Time to STOP!

Razor Acquisition Syndrome hit me hard....it's time to stop!

I've only been straight razor shaving for a month and I've already bought several vintage razors! In the beginning I said "I just want one more for when I send my Dovo off to be honed" but that turned into two ivory-scaled razors and three more vintage razors from various companies.

Time to join Razors Anonymous. You have recognized you have a problem, that is the first step.

Have someone set your computer settings to block eBay and other online auction sites and burn the piece of paper with the password.

Destroy your credit cards. Disable your PayPal account.

Never mind - doesn’t work. Enjoy the razors you have and learn to hone and restore so you can buy cheapos that need a lot of work. The time you spend restoring is time you don’t spend buying.

    Good luck.

You just got started my friend. Dont worry about it until you hit 50 razors. Then think about quiting. Then after you hit 100 razors you will know you have a problem. Then, when you f8nd a good way to keep them all you will find you got room for more so fill the spaces.
Its not a problem. Plus by then you will be good at honing and restoring. Have fun with it and just keep in mind that we have members that have many hundreds of razors.

    Jerry,

Thanks man.....I could see someone soaking up 100+ razors then running out of space. Probably a better addiction than the common ones. LOL

This is why i bought a cabinet with many drawers for my razors. I can now store 200+. So i dont have a problem if you ask me. Now when i cant store any more... i will admit to having a problem. Ha.

I don't allow myself to have more than 15 razors at a time, less if I can help it. I just have my daily shavers with a few special razors. If I ever want a new razor I try to sell a razor I already have that I don't use as much.

Some of us have advanced RAD, the numbers are much much lower, but the price tags are much much higher.

No you won't. You'll build another cabinet!
