US Army straight razors

I currently own a Geneva Cutlery "Army Navy" SR. It's a great razor, and is getting even better as I improve my honing skills. I did a bit of research, and didn't find much on military SRs in general, and anything Army related specifically. I retired from the Army National Guard after 22 years (just shy actually) of service, both Guards and active duty, so military related items have a personal value for me. I have a DE military set displayed in front of my deployment flag. So I am curious if there is a list of military straight razors. Any links to such a list?

In for more info! I seem to remember at least one member collecting military razors.
I remember finding several in one antique shop, but they weren't cheap.

I bet my Uncle would love a Marine razor!

No links here, but I have a Torrey Army straight razor with the Army etched on the blade. I also have an Army officers straight razor. I'll have to locate and take pics perhaps.

Don't know of a list but both John Heifor & Lakeside cutlery did military themed razors or made razors for the military. I think Luke Cadman ie Bengal, also. Bengals weren't marked as such IIRC.

Not the home team, but a collector told me he had a PUMA made for the Nazi SS.

That would be interesting, from a historical perspective.

Im no collector of Nazi stuff. But a straight razor would be cool.
I have an Imperial that says Army Navy on it, but I think it was just a selling point.

Great looking razor!

Clauss out of Fremont Ohio made straight razors that were standard issue for Marines in WWI. I don't have one but, one day if it's meant to be, I will own one these razors.

I believe you are correct in that it was a selling point for the American market. I doubt the US government would have bought US military issue razors from a German company. I do have one of those also because I like the etching. Bonus, it shaves well too.

Yes, there are a surprising number of companies known for their straight razors that contracted to make German military issue daggers circa WWII.

yeah i agree its just marketing
but genco is a great razor (just dont tell anyon else), id be happy to own regardless of my army background
but if you are interested check out the gillete KHAKI set, old style razor, blade bank, mirror, tacks, case. i finally acquired a complete set, which i understand may have been military issue WW1
some have markings" property us army".... i've been looking for razor with us army marking but they are rare and often over priced
i'm really not much of a collector but the khaki set is special.

Hey, new here. I have just been looking for info about an "Army & Navy" razor that I recently acquired and that led me to this thread.
Idk if anyone has any info on this "Eaton" brand razor, but I haven't been able to find anything about the brand at all.
