Default Questions about my latest edition

A new addition to my collection from ebay arrived in the mail today. I'm hoping some of the members can shed some light on the age of this razor. The name on the tang is hard to read, it looks like French. Here is my best guess (s or t very faint) r or t, e, a, u, d, u, unknown, then what looks like a partial cross. The e, a, u, d, u are very clear the rest is just a guess. The e is actually a backwards 3, but I'm fairly confident it was intended to be read as an "e."

As described by the seller it seems the end of the blade is curved up and the spine is a bit thicker to aid in opening.

I think most of those that have little to no heel on the blade or where the blade and tang run together with no clear separation are from the 1700s. I'm not astute enough to defininitively tell which is one of those and which is a wedge that's worn slap out so take that for what it's worth.
