A. Aubry razor
I'm looking for information on this maker and the razor. The blade is 4 inches long and the tang 2 inches so the overall length is the about same as a common straight razor. The blade width is 10/8 and extra hollow ground. The tang hole is drilled and not punched and the tang has fine lower jimps. The makers stamp reads A. AUBRY and under it A PARIS.

A. Aubry was a famous French medical and surgical instrument maker who worked from Boulevard Saint Michel 6, in Paris. In 1900 he published a catalog summarizing his work: "Catalogue Illustre des Instruments de Chirurgie". The firm was in business from 1832 to 1930 give or take a few.

That brings up who made this razor more then likely it was not Aubry but probably a good cutlery firm from Thiers. From what im seeing the instrument and presentation is very high quality, assuming this razor falls under that category as well.

You can see in the illustration below that Aubry was selling Lecoultre razor and Lecoultre blades.
