Cattaraugus Prince
So I got this one in today. Bought it CHEAP on the bay. Lousy pictures but I took a chance. Probably a Korn from what I can find out. It certainly is a fine specimen of American workmanship.
Beautiful shaped grind. Bellied full hollow ground.
It has some pitting on the back side but fortunately only very deep on the tang.
Gotta love the mother of toilet seat (pearloid) scales but you can kind of see that they look greenish on the outside but more brownish on the inside

A lot of times you have to pan through a lot of mud to get a bit of gold.. I really like the look of that razor.. Nice find.

I have one with the same shape. I will have to look and see what it is...
Clean Shave, TTC is the only thing on mine for a stamp.It's just Sharpening, right?

Probably another contract by Geo. W. Korn. He made razors for a number of different cutlery companies including Cattaraugus and the various Case companies among others. Maybe that's a Sears variant?

Amen to that. If they would just make wind chimes out of the junk before they ship it would make life a lot easier.

I am quite a fan of the Little Valley razors
My understanding is that George Korn was the Master Grinder for Case which had relatives in
Kinfolks
Cattaruagus
Korn
and maybe a couple of others I am forgetting
George Korn actually held the patent on the Double Concave Grind pretty interesting read, I know the link is on here someplace
