Their junk..!! I'd be more than happy to dispose of it for you.
Mike is kidding.
Its a nice razor for sure. The link posted will give you some info on it. I'd call it in great shape. Next to no wear if any. Nice!
It’s a nice razor for sure.
A rather late Wostenholm. Likely from the 10's/20's or so. Modern grind. Hard rubber scales.
These late Sheffield's are very good razors IMO.
Thank you so much for your thoughts!!
Wow, the gold wash still looks great.
Yes, I'm just pulling your chain. I'd say its one of the nicest Conquerer's I've seen, yet. I'm quite partial to Mr. Wostenholms work, even though I like a few others as well, George's work always seems flawless, right down to the shave, itself. Thank you, for sharing...
Geo. Wostenholm is a very respected maker with good reason. They are great shavers and the one you have is in excellent condition. Very nice!
AND you have a matching box. Not sure if it's original or not but it is a Wosty box at least. That doesn't matter to everyone but it does to some, me included. It definitely adds value to a collector
I should specify here that there are 2 different kinds of people in relation to straight razors: collectors and shavers. They look for different things in them (most of the time) and their purpose is different.
Does anyone know if the conqueror boxes said conqueror on them?
