Default Could Anyone Please Help Me Identify This Razor?

I was rummaging through my mostly neglected drawer and came across this. There is no maker or identifying nomenclature on this. The only nomenclature is on the show side. As far as I can see with some magnification there are no lettering on either side of the tang. This one really has me puzzled. It looks to me like a long cut shoulderless blade???
    Thanks!

There are quite a few of those around. No one really knows who made them, if I recall correctly. They are good razors.

Thanks man. I'll clean it up and re-scale it and go from there.

I have a Daniel Peres razor out of Solingen, with the exact same geometry and the same blade etch (although mine has a barrel - Peres' trademark). I know for a fact Peres exported to the States as well. So that would be my best guess.

    Best regards,

That blade style was used by a few makers, including D. Peres. The Peres razors are excellent shaving razors. I hone an identical Peres for a guy, and it is one of the best shaving razors I have test shaved and holds an edge very well. I usually see it once a year.

It is curious that the same style and the exact “Magnetic Diamond Steel” blade etching appears on razors stamped with other maker marks.

The blade and etch are identical to the Antelope model by Griffon, and possible that Griffon made them for others, though I doubt for D. Peres and for Ern/Wald.

The Peres had the Peres' Barrell mark etch also on the blade. Griffon and Ern were the largest makers to use the blade design and etch.

I have a couple Griffon Antelope razors and they too are fine shavers as are Ern's.

You will probably need a couple layers of tape to get close to the bevel angle of the original grind, and reshaping the heel will get the heel half of the edge honed that spine/tang design can keep the heel off the stone.

Thank you all for the information.
+1 on the double layers of tape. I'll start working on it today.
I'll post pics when I'm finished.
    Thank you all again.
