Excellent start! You'll have to get enough razors that it would pay (in the money you save) to buy your own set of hones!:) (but seriously learn to shave first)
Nice start :tu. You'll find people here to be very generous with their time and their goods.
I am afraid you have fallen into a rabbit hole. This place is full of enablers that'll suck you in even deeper.
Warning! There is NO cure for RAD (Razor Acquisition Disorder) but there is a treatment..........BMR, Buy More Razors!
The wife saw me perusing the bay earlier and says “really?!? You don’t have enough already?”. To which I reply “well there’s just a couple more grinds I want.” She roles her eyes and laughs.
You think RAD is bad, just wait until you go on the search for your perfect edge...
A little light, to the realism.

There's others, much worse than I
Mike, you are my hero.
Every time I get grief from SWMBO about getting something razor related, I show her your photos.
It’s still usually “Nope”, but I do feel better.
At least razors are not as expensive an endeavor as hones. BEWARE HAD! You can really sink some money into that pursuit.
Yep, I got a Torrey and a Wade and Butcher at a yard sale for five bucks each. Now I am pretty sure that I have 100 blades. Marsdens, and Roberts, and WB's, Wostys, and Reynolds, and Unions, ......... I just recently found out that I do not have to have one blade by everyone.
And expensive...
Once you get your collection to one hundred or so....... It is time to decide what you like and narrow your search and go for what you like most.
Practice what I preach not what I do!:rofl2:
100 seems like a lot when you have 10 or less. After you've passed the century mark it doesn't seem like more than a start.
I'm reminded of when John D. Rockefeller was asked how much money is enough. His answer was, " just a little more. "
I am trying to just buy Sheffield, but then i see a lonely little rusty thing at a yard sale, and i just have to bring it home.
