Shumate pronunciation

How is Shumate pronounced: Shoe-mate or Shoe-mah-tee ?

Bump....I want to tell people about it, but don't want to sound stupid.

Is it potato or potato. Kind of looks the same huh?
A good ole pronunciation is shoomate. Not a fancy razor but a good razor. Don't worry about the rest

I kinda prefer the Gaulic pronunciation of shu (short yoo) mwah, shuhmwah. Has that continental sorta class, doncha know.;)

Myself I use the Shumate like in Karate I don't know for sure that's the correct way but I'm comfortable with it :nj
