Ok, guys here is another straight razor but this one needs some TLC.
I want ed to test, one more time, the natural Northern light at 1:30 pm.
Let me know what you think of the lighting.

and a few more pics.....
lighting is fine by my standards. Nice razor!
Is that a wedge.?
I've gotta set of scales, with the name inlayed into them.
I think the lighting is fine. Is it filtered through a sheer curtain or similar, it looks pretty soft.
Also it is a nice razor. Looks like it hasn’t seen much action, and just one tiny blemish.
Good condition. Wedges aren't my thing, and yeah G&F has a checkered reputation but knock on wood, I have never had a bad one. I think they are underrated and you have a nice looking one there. Your light is fine. Pretty decent pic.
Awesome, Randy! That's the old G&F which is of high quality and in a 'modern grind' wedge model.
Truly an excellent shaver.
Enjoy!
Ah the old cloud filter. A light curtain may do well for more direct sunlight, just to cut any glare.
The clouds are a filter. Whatever cuts glare is a filter. Your pictures are good. The big enemy is glare and the tricky part is getting enough light without getting glare.
I had one in a set of modern grind wedges, different makers. I had forgotten. The Adoration Ax
I have the bellied hollow ground version (295, 6/8) and it has the Adoration inlay in the scales that Mike mentioned.

I hadn't heard anything about their "checkered past," and maybe it was dumb luck but mine is a singing full hollow and it is a monster shaver.
