    Default Storage

Pretty straightforward question, what do you guys store your razors in? My bathroom is more humid than most, so I've found that a cigar box with a couple of those silica packs keeps everything dry and rust free for me but I'm wondering if there's a better option.

I would start by taking them out of the bathroom, mine are in the bedroom in a couple of the drawers of a big jewelery box with silica packs for good measure.

I see a fair few destroyed razors from bathroom storage..

For long term storage or even shorter term , I have to recommend my concoction.

    Recently I reformulated:

    8 Parts : Olive Oil.
    1 Part : Beeswax.
    1 Part : Paraffin Wax.

A Little goes a long way.. Easy on and off , total protection

I guess that it depends on how many razors you have.
I have a couple of pen display storage cases like this and a couple of custom cabinets mounted on the wall.

I second what was said above - get them out of the bathroom. I have a couple of felt razor rolls I use for the blades I don’t use often and the others I keep in toothbrush tubes I got at the dollar store. The few that I don’t use, but only like to look at once in a while are oiled with a razor oil that has paraffin as its base before being put away.

Our house is normally pretty dry, uncomfortable so in the winter, so using desiccant packs has not been necessary.

I store mine in two Thiers-Issard cases: 7-razor and 28-razor (I bought them 16 years ago, from classicshaving.com); each blade gets a light coat of Tuf-Glide, and I put lots of silica gel-packs inside the cases)

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Most are stored in the three drawer jewelry box.
    Others in their original boxes.
The not so important, sit in the open as shown.

Things are in disarray at the moment, as the ones in the open needed a good cleaning from dust build up.

I don't oil mine. I keep a fan on at all times. So there's a constant flow of air throughout the downstairs of my house.

There's been another jewelry box added, and more razors, since that pic.
