Recently, a friend of mine, a barber, retired and gifted me his razor collection. He used the straight razors mostly as decoration. I don't have any knowledge about razors, nor do I collect them. I wanted to ask if anyone knows what exactly these razors are, the price and if they can even be sold.

Your lucky to have come into such a big collection of razors, there are are couple of guys here that restore some of those and make them beautiful again.
You might decide to start shaving with them, its a great way to shave.
As far as valuating them, that's not something we do sorry.
Hello and welcome. Well we don't do valuation here. At least not in open forum. It is against site rules. That said you do have some quite collectable individuals in that group from what I can tell from the pictures. Some more detailed photos would be needed to be able to tell more.
We also don't allow sale on open forum without a vendor membership BUT perhaps someone might be willing to help you find the path that is best for you to take.
I hope you might stick around and join in as there is plenty of items of interest here.
Unless I am mistaken, a simple B/S/T membership for a couple of $ would be enough to sell them one by one over a given time. If OP would sell them off as auctions, valuation wouldn't be a big problem because it would sort itself out.Quote:

Welcome to the forum. You have some nice razors in there. Some a bit rough too. Checking sold razors with the same name and condition on ebay will get you a good idea what one is worth. But it can change month to month.
They are all pretty dirty looking. A good scrub with WD-40 and 0000 steel wool will clean them up. Once they are clean the true condition will be easier to see. It will also help them last longer. It’s a good starting point.
Welcome to the forum. The bottom line is you'll get whatever someone is willing to pay for these razors. Sometimes the problem is the seller thinks they have a gold mine and ask outrageously inflated prices for them. In reality, the seller will become frustrated because they don't understand why people won't pay for the asking price. It's all about what the market will bear.

But just to help you out you can box them all up and send them to me. Then i will dispose of them so you dont have to worry about them ever again. Lol
Actually, just a little warning, if you plan on trying to clean then up some before selling DONT USE SANDPAPER. WD40 and fine steel wool and heavy gloves and a lot of care.

...AND, don't scrub on top of any gold wash. Use a rag and a metal polish but be careful.on it.
