18th century razors.

My wife and I thinking of getting into 18th century reenacting. Since I am now learning straight shaving, and trying my hand at knife making, I am looking for some pictures or drawings of mid 1700's straight razors. I am thinking of making myself one. Found a good post on a board (can't recall which one) with some one making a straight from some bar stock, but lost the post.
I found the picture of George Washington's razor form an early thread. Thank you for your time.

Here is my late 18th centry razor. The earlyier ones if I remember correctly look like a propeller blade with a stick attached as a handle. Seen a few but I couldn't say where... sorry

Awesome. Thank you for the great pic. So it looks to be that one difference is the shank where it tapers to heel (hope that is the correct name).

You're going to see a variety of different blade styles if you research them a little more. One thing a lot of them have in common, though, are the straight scales. Later on, the scales start to develop a bit of a bend to them, which is a syle that doesn't seem to altered much since.
