Dorko Modoso 88 questions

Hi,
I recently purchased a Dorko Modoso in excellent condition with very little hone wear. It has an 11/16 wide round point blade and cream colored celluloid scales. On the blade it says:
From Best Dorko Steel Solingen Made in Germany
and 88 with Modoso inside of a parallellogram

Are these good razors? How old is it? What is an approximate value?

I don't know much about Dorko's other than they are good razors.....it should serve you well for a long time - and welcome to SRP!

Dorko like Double Duck made a name for themselves as barber suppliers to the trade and as such have excellent reputations. Dorko's are outstanding razors.
